My Story - The face behind SoulTune Photography...
Welcome here! My name is Emily, the face behind the camera. I began this business in January of 2023, but my experience and practice goes beyond that. I have always had a camera in my hand since I was a kid, taking photos and testing my creative boundaries. I started building my name in the music industry, writing, recording, and performing my own songs, and even graduated Mid-Ocean School of Media Arts as a certified audio engineer. I find many concepts are transferable, which is why I chose this field!
The name SoulTune comes from two things; first, that photography is a passion. It is something you have to do by putting your heart and soul into it. And second, simply because I'm a musical person.
Who am I when the camera is put down? I am a wife to the most patient and sweetest husband for two years now, though we've been together for a decade. We have two beautiful blessings in the form of our children, and we also have two big dogs and a giant fluffball of a cat that keep us company and fill our home with more love. We just moved to Southeastern Kansas from Manitoba, Canada, and are slowly adjusting to a rural lifestyle. I am a Christian woman, and I live to serve my life for our Heavenly Father.
I have a lot to keep me busy, But this life is built on all the things I love most.
